Hi,

we have a new Nutanix Cluster with three nodes. Now we will move our citrix farm from VMware to Nutanix.

But on Nutanix the VMs much slower as on VMware. We use publish desktops with Citrix MCS an Fslogix.
Login with VMware takes 15 seconds with Nutanix more that 50 seconds.

The Nutanix Hardware much better then on Vmware.

So we don‘t understand why it is so much slower.

Also we use the Best Practice Guide from Nutanix for Citrix MCS.

so have anybody an idea, why Citrix is slower on Nutanix and what we can do to speed up the system?

What do you mean with “Citrix is slower?”. I see the login time but what you end user see?? What part is slower? The login will handle a lot so you need to be more precise.

As descibed in the question.

The Login process nearly takes one minute. In ESX 15 seconds and the Session is ready.

we can not go into production with just pain in the login process. something  works with esx/vmware better as in Nutanix.the choke is, that the Nutanix Hardware is much better.

We use Windows Server 2022, Citrix Machine Creation Service, FSLogix and WEM.

But you need to be more precise. What is taken so long? What does the user see on the screen what is taking so long? “Login is slow” is such a huge process.

fFSLogix?

gpo’s?

wem?

Hdx session esablishement?

etc etc

And how do you get the 50 seconds? Is it from citrix director? There you can see what is taking up the 50 seconds.

Did you use the old vmware vda and did an inplace upgrade?

Did you create only the vda and used the old gpo’s/wem config?
Is this completely new?
etc etc

Hi,

solved.  Was an issue with Watchguard TCO Agent on Host.
